The D2 is the world first Micro-descender with anti-panic function! It features a very unique top-of-the art mechanism that stops completely the descent when the user gets into a panic situation. Controlling the descending speed is easy and is done just by pressing on the lever, which allows the rope to slide through the mechanism without having to control the rope with your second hand. This device is specially designed to be used in emergency situations and for quick escape procedures. Due to its light weight and volatility, it can be clipped to the harness and carried all the time without being in your way. Meets NFPA 1983
